KAIST invites you to participate in the upcoming International Symposium on Aircraft Gas Turbine. Aircraft engines are a key technology in the country's aerospace capabilities, and their importance is increasing day by day. In particular, development of gas turbines for aviation has been a long-desired target of Korea. Korea has been moving forward to the direction by developing its own gas turbine for power-generation and producing more than 10,000 aircraft engines.
Today, we are facing another turning point. The demand for international and domestic aero engines across the civil and military sectors continues to expand. At the same time, the demand for drone-based small gas turbines is growing rapidly, as well. This shift underscores the need for new technological innovations and industrial collaborations. It is time for academia, industry, and government to explore a way forward together.
The symposium will feature renowned experts from local and abroad, sharing the latest research achievements and industry trends, as well as discussing visions for future aircraft gas turbine technology. We look forward to this event becoming an important exchange platform for the development of the aerospace industry. We sincerely ask for your active interest and participation.
